Hearing to review security implications for the U.S. of the Agreed
Framework with North Korea, signed Oct. 21, 1994, to resolve North Korea
nuclear weapons threat to international security.
Framework includes provisions requiring North Korea to stop building
certain nuclear reactors and fuel reprocessing plants and to dispose of
spent reactor fuel safely, in exchange for international community
contribution of light water reactors and fuel oil to North Korea for
production of electric power.
Supplementary material (p. 86-95) includes witnesses' written replies to
Committee questions.
