Hearing to review the Agreed Framework, signed Oct. 21, 1994 by the U.S.
and North Korea, to resolve the North Korean nuclear weapons threat to
international security.
Framework includes provisions requiring North Korea to stop building
certain nuclear reactors and fuel reprocessing plants and to dispose of
spent reactor fuel safely, in exchange for international community
contribution of light water reactors and fuel oil.
