 Hearing before the Subcom on Asian and Pacific Affairs to examine issues
 involved in U.S. adherence to protocols to the South Pacific Nuclear Free
 Zone Treaty (text, with annexes and protocols, p. 122-140), establishing a
 South Pacific Nuclear Free Zone. Protocols require signatory nations to
 restrict nuclear activities within their South Pacific territories.
   Includes transcript (p. 107-120) of July 15 Subcom markup session on H.
 Con. Res. 158 (text, p. 108-112), to express the sense of Congress that the
 U.S. sign and ratify the Treaty protocols. Resolution was adopted.
