 Hearings before the Subcom on Human Rights and International Organizations,
 the Subcom on Asian and Pacific Affairs, and the Subcom on International
 Operations to consider H.J. Res. 187, to approve the Compact of Free
 Association, signed Oct. 1, 1982, between the U.S. and the Federated States
 of Micronesia, and June 25, 1983, between the U.S. and the Republic of the
 Marshall Islands, providing for termination of the TTPI trusteeship
 arrangement and establishment of a new political relationship with the U.S.
 Bill also conditionally approves the Compact of Free Association between the
 U.S. and Palau, signed May 23, 1984.
   Compact includes agreements between the U.S. and the three TTPI
 jurisdictions pertaining to economic aid, military operating rights, and
 compensation for victims of radioactive fallout from nuclear weapons
 testing.
   Includes transcript (p. 319-352) of Subcom on Asian and Pacific Affairs
 May 2 markup session on H.J. Res. 187, and an unnumbered House concurrent
 resolution welcoming India Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi to the U.S. Amended
