 Hearings to determine whether Members of the Senate or their immediate
 families or associates were involved in an alleged influence-buying plan
 carried out by agents of the Republic of Korea in the early 1970s.
   This volume focuses on allegations that Tongsun Park, a Korean
 businessman residing in the U.S., enlisted congressional support for his
 appointment as exclusive agent in Korean Government purchase of rice from
 American sellers, and allegedly used "commissions" from rice sales for cash
 payments to Congressmen to create a more favorable atmosphere for South
 Korean interests.
   Hearings were held in executive session. Classified material has been
 deleted.
