Fifth in a series of releases of transcripts of hearings held in executive
session during the early post World War II period. These hearings, made
public in Jan. 1974, focus on the following 81st Congress bills:
S. 1063, to provide economic aid to China.
S. 2319, to provide economic aid to Korea.
S. 2845, to obligate already appropriated China aid funds until June 30,
1950.
Includes discussion (p. 5-15, 113-114, 229-230) on military position of
Nationalist China and on various phases of the China aid program.
