and surveying historical U.S. experience in termination of involvement in
declared and undeclared wars. Also describes legal aspects of termination of
Korean and Vietnam wars, and implications for domestic U.S. law of possible
congressional actions to terminate Vietnam war.
Appendices (p. 13-17) contain text of three resolutions regarding ending
of state of war with Germany following World Wars I and II.
