Hearing before the Subcom on International Organizations and Movements on
H.J. Res. 521 (text and dept rpts, p. 1-11), to: authorize funds for an ex
gratia contribution to TTPI inhabitants who suffered damages arising from
World War II; provide for the payment of noncombatant claims occurring prior
to July 1, 1951; and establish a Micronesian Claims Commission to administer
the claims.
Includes text (p. 11-12) of the U.S. treaty with Japan on Micronesian war
claims, to be implemented under H.J. Res. 521, and submitted statements and
correspondence.
