Books and Periodicals

The library provides all users with access to library materials via OPAC. When a book location number indicates “CAS.CPAS.Lib,” it means the material is on an open shelf. “CAS.CPAS.Lib.Stack” means the material is stored in a closed shelf. To use library materials from the closed shelves, fill in an application form and hand it in at the counter.

Micro materilas film list / fiche list

Maicro materials are stored in the closed shelves. To use materials, fill in an Application Form and bring it to a librarian at the counter.



CD-ROMs  list

These are placed on the open shelf 103 which is situated in front of the counter on the ground floor. You can directly access to some CD-ROMs from computer terminals (No. 1 or No. 2).



Videos list

All videos are placed on the open shelves in the reading room on the ground floor. There are two audio-visual booths in the reading room on the ground floor. When you use videos, please borrow headphones and a key at the counter.



Cassettes / Slides  list

Cassetes and slides are stored in the closed shelves. To use materials, fill in an Application Form and bring it to a librarian at the counter.



Databases

CPAS subscribes to ProQuest's Historical Newspapers.
ProQuest Historical Newspapers offers full-text and full-image articles for newspapers dating back to the 18th century. At CPAS The New York Times, Washington Post, and Los Angeles Times are available.
